My child is unhappy with his avatar. What can we do?

It depends on what you mean here. If you think they have selected a rock name and want the option to be selected again, the teacher can delete the name of the selected rock so that the child can select again next time that they connect.

If you think you have chosen a rock name, they have an avatar that they want to change. The good news is that everyone starts with this avatar, whatever rock name they choose. All they have to do is change your eyes, lips, and hair to suit their tastes.

Did you have a launch presentation?

Yes, on the download page. Here are some additional ideas for a great start in the assembly.

  • Let your staff shake with wigs, inflatable guitars, music and, well.
  • Play Baz Wynter’s video embedded in the PowerPoint launch.
  • Make your own “Sorry, I can not be there” video like this did the Holcombe Brook Elementary School.
  • Get your fastest teacher (not your fastest student yet) to show what’s possible in 60 seconds.
  • Here, you get some students who have already used the site to talk about why learning tables is beneficial and what they like about TTRS.
  • Remember to keep some energy for weekly or regular compilations, wall screens, certificates, etc.
  • A great start is good, but maintaining momentum is more important in the long run.

Can I still choose my rock name?

Ask your teacher to erase your name from the rock so that you can select it again the next time you connect. (Teacher goes to Student Setup, check the box next to the child’s name and click the Reset User button.)

I set up the tables, why do not they work?

Two possible reasons:

You are connected as yourself when you test. Keep in mind that when you enter the tables, only the questions that your children/students receive, not those that you receive, will be affected. You will always answer all questions up to 12 × 12.
The placement of tables only affects children/students when they play in the garage or arena. When they play in the Studio or the Festival, they get questions up to 12 × 12.

Is It Okay that My Child’s Name Appears on the Website?

As teachers, parents or business owners of the EDU, we are extremely aware of the safety of children, so to be clear, we take all the serious concerns, but the short answer is yes, it is safe.

This is a longer answer in three parts!

  • The only place with an external accent where you can show a real name is at the end of a festival or sand game.
  • Just because the real name appears at the end of a festival or sand contest, it’s not an immediate risk.
  • After all, beyond the name, there is no way to identify which school they are in or where they are in the world.
  • Literally, no way. So, they can be John Smith, for example, anywhere.
  • In addition, this real name is only visible to the few people who are in the same game.
  • There are no strange people on the site, not even children playing in another game, even if they are sitting next to each other.
  • Only those in the same game who need to connect to be there.

We really feel that it’s not a problem for your child that it’s name appears on the website but even if you are paranoid about this issue then we request you to follow the above-given methods to protect the privacy of your child.

What to do if someone has access to Account?

To be clear, the person who has spent the money on the other is not a distant anonymous hacker. Instead, the offender could be another child in the same school or even in the same class who enrolled with the victim’s user name and password. This gives him the idea that breach was possible by the child himself, by the teacher (by mistake) or by accident.

How to Determine that your account password is used by someone?

Children: If someone has spent your money, we are sorry to hear that. The good news is that your teacher recovers your money and changes your password. Don’t even share your password with anyone, even with a friend.

If it was the boy who went into someone else’s account and spent his money, then he must be as bored as the one with the money they spend. A good rock star is an honest rock star, and such behavior is dishonest. They must promise not to do it again and they will feel bad for others who have worked hard to earn that money.

Parents: If you notice that your child is the victim, talk to your child. You can take care of the return. Please talk to your child if you want to share your credentials or actions accordingly.
